Shave Ice.... Our FAVORITE!!!

Shave ice is our new favorite hawaiian treat!!  I love snow cones but after eating shave ice I will never go back.  The shave ice is so fine that flavorings are absorbed into the ice instead of settling to the bottom of the cup as with a snow cone.  It melts in your mouth instantly!  You can get it with ice cream or azuki beans at the bottom and a snow cap or sweet cream on the top.  It is sooooo GOOD!!!!

Our First Luau

The company I work for own the Old Lahaina Luau.  It is a top rated Luau on Maui.  It is awesome!!!  They invited me and the family to attend after we arrived.  Kyle and Hallie beg to go back and want to go for their birthday.  They just loved  it!!!!  

Moving to Maui, Hawaii

We took pictures of the kids in the car on the way to the airport.  They were excited and anxious all at the same time.

After landing on Maui we had to drive to the other side of the island where our house is waiting. 

Our new home.  Lots of exploring to do before we could rest.  It was the 4th of July and they were so  tired but the kids wanted to stay up to see the fire works!  It was a LONG day!!

Pebble Beach Golf

The boys in our family LOVE golf.  Kyle started playing a lot when we got to Carmel.  He did pretty well too.  Kevin got to golf for free on the 4 Pebble Beach owned golf courses because I worked for the company.  We had a lot of visitors for Kevin to take golfing.  It was a nice perk to get family to visit!!!!

Pebble Beach

Living 5 minutes from Pebble Beach we would visit there often.  I worked for The Inn at Spanish Bay, they have fire pits right on the ocean and we loved to go sit there in the evening and listen to the bagpiper and have some treats.  We love the shopping there at the Lodge.  We would go there for any golf accessory needed.

Carmel Beaches

I am so far behind post so I am trying to catch up.  We spent a lot of time at the beach.  We like to have picnics, go for walks and watch the Sunsets.  The kids always asked to go to the beach.  It is very chilly so we always have to dress warm and can't really play in the water even though Kyle does regardless of how cold it is.... crazy kids!!!!
